"You know we've a situation here. In the last six months we've lost hundreds of prime livestock. Every week we find more and more of them of them lying out there with their bloody throats ripped out" - Adam Wilson
Shane Abbess' second feature goes retro Sci-Fi with a horror twist
Okay not saying this is Australia's answer to Ridley Scott's intergalactic hitchhiker shocker but the teaser released this week certainly has us bright eyed and bushy tailed.
For anyone out of the loop Shane Abbess was the dude who helmed Gabriel a few years back, which reminds me I need to check that movie out again. Shane has been doing the business State side for a few years now but is back with his second feature, a Sci-Fi horror journey titled Infini. Set for release in 2015 the movie certainly has a number of people sitting up and taking notice.
"Set in the dark reaches of space, Infini is the story of a search and rescue team transported to a distant mining station to save Whit Charmicael (Daniel MacPherson) who is the lone survivor of a freak accident". Do I need to add that there is also a biological weapon involved, its loose, and the whole fandango is headed to earth! Clearly Mr Abbess isn't pulling his punches with this bad boy.
Daniel MacPherson, Luke Hemsworth, Grace Huang with Bren Foster and Luke Ford are your crew for this encounter with terror, sit back and relax we'll bring you details as they are released. Check out the teaser below and then tell me you won't be there opening night, dark and Gothic doesn't even come close folks. The official website is right here.
