Plague set to take a bite out of Audiences

New Aussie zombie flick looks high on drama and densely intense. Are we excited, think Tony Abbott finding new areas to slash in the environment budget!

Plague looks the goods as Directors Kosta Ouzas and Nick Kozakis show they know exactly what zombie cinema is about. A group of survivors learning they have a lot more to fear than simply flesh eating ghouls. I'm already excited to catch a screening of this bad boy, but hey regional Australia, when pigs take to wing yo!

The synopsis from the official site, "A small group of survivors seek shelter from an infection that has spread like a plague among the human race. Evie (Tegan Crowley) and her fellow survivors find refuge and wait for her husband Johnís (Scott Marcus) return. After the infected attack, Evie refuses to abandon her husband against the wishes of the group. The survivors revolt leaving Evie to an uncertain fate. With the unexpected arrival of Charlie (Steven Kennedy) what appears to be an opportunity at a new beginning quickly turns into a horror as menacing as the infected that pursue them." - now that's got to have your blood pounding horror fans!

Okay I've got no idea on release dates Downunder, but the movie is getting screenings at major festivals, so fingers crossed you can score a ticket or two down that avenue. Anyways in the meantime the above average trailer to whet your appetite for gut munching mayhem.
