Netflix has Under Paris 2 under production

Under Paris was the most successful non-English language movie ever on the Netflix service with a reported 102 million views. The movie might have ended pretty apocalyptic but Netflix and director Xavier Gens have said hold our respective beers, we're going with a sequel. Now for defenders of Prey, that's what actually happens when your movie is actually successful.

A couple of key cast members are returning for sequel, including Bernenice Bejo, who stars as a grieving activist following the demise of her team, and we wait with anticipation to see if she will jump in the water again to achieve the square root of bugger all, and Nassim Lyes as the water cop.

Interesting enough people claiming to have viewed the movie are not best pleased with what the first movie offered, and yes some of that criticism is warranted and from legitimate sources, however if Netflix has a subscription for everyone dissing the movie, they would be a few billion to the better. Yes false reviews are as usual flooding online sources, and you can pick em out as they say exactly the same thing, repeating the policy line adopted by haters. At best click bait comes to mind.

Some confusion about when the movie is being shoot, with later 2025 being touted though some sources are claiming 2026. We'll bring news as it comes to hand.
