The second trailer for Predator: Badlands has dropped as we edge closer to the November 7th cinema release date. There's a few things we can take from the new trailer, our two leads for example are a Predator (Dak) and an Artificial Person. The Predator is on his first hunt, we definitely are going to the Predator Homeword which is something fans have been wanting for decades now, and Weyland-Yutani are going to feature heavily.

Clearly Weyland-Yutani have a huge presence on the most dangerous planet in the universe, but their presence seems to be restricted to synthetics. Naturally since WY are in the movie speculation is rife that a Xenomorph is also involved. There is no evidence for this, I'm not discounting it, but claims that this is what is going down are at best complete BS at this stage. Clearly if a Xeno is going to throw a hissy threat then the marketing for the movie is keeping that one under wraps to surprise viewers with on opening night.

Naturally the movie doesn't answer all questions and asks more to keep the potential audience hot for teacher. Why is Dak (our Predator) hunting that which can't be killed, who is the Predator elder seen in a few scenes, and how does he team up with the synthetic. Who knows, more questions than answers, I'm still excited.

A few thoughts or at least theories are circulating here at ScaryMinds. Is the Predator Elder the same one as presented in Predator: Killer of Killers, they both appear to have the same dreadlocks. Are Weyland-Yutani collecting specimens on the planet that dripped blood for the weapons program? Are we talking the same synthetic seen in differing scenes of the trailer? There would appear to be slight differences. Guess we'll have all the answers on November 7th, already saving my cents to be there opening night. Not entirely sure the movie is going to be successful, but heck the fans are going to be rocking.

A final theory, Dak does his thing and in the next movie needs to be blooded by hunting the ultimate prey. a Xenomorph queen. Fingers crossed the synthetic introduced in this movie recurs in the sequel.
